As one of our prized natural wonders and popular summertime destinations, John’s Cove Beach is the jewel of District 6.
However, there are a number of safety concerns regarding parking, the absense of changing rooms, bathroom facilities, a lifeguard or safety ring.
Escalating the issues to have the Province recognize this area is a safety concern to the public is on my agenda.

Narrow shoulders make it difficult to exit cars safely.


Public safety concerns have been expressed after a near-drowning at John’s Cove Beach. John’s Cove should have a lifeguard, or at least available safety rings.
Let’s see what we can do to improve this area.
